I heard about Instagram and other platforms allowing -- even encouraging -- fake AI accounts. O_O Way to shoot themselves in both feet.

I think the subhead on this Rolling Stone article nails it: "Meta seems less and less interested in the social aspects of social media."

I hope that Meta giving up on social media in favor of so-called "AI" slop means more people will go back to social networking sites.
