* Watch the communities and blogs recommended here.

* Visit the ones that appeal to you.

* Check the community profiles. Sometimes they list affiliated communities on related topics that you may also like.

* Read the comments and note who you find interesting.

* Visit the commenter blogs and make new friends.

Eventually you'll build up your own network of communities and individuals that you follow. \o/

You don't have to do it all at once. Any time there's a weekly topic you like, just pick one or two places to explore.
