Someone recently pointed me to dwbookbingo, which is quite an active community for readers! You fill in a bingo card based on books you finish reading during the challenge.

It looks like most/all of the activity is actually on LJ, which I am sad about because that looks fun. Do we want to try to colonize the DW branch?

Ah, I'm not reading enough to participate in such a challenge at the moment unfortunately but people in my DW circles are participating. With several posts in 2022 I'm sure they'd welcome the activity on the Dreamwidth comm as well, if you're up for it :D Happy to help with things like promoting the event where I can!

That's a great idea. LJ is precarious now, and there are still several days of Three Weeks for Dreamwidth left that should make it easier to find people who'd enjoy that community. Go for it!
