Here's the plan: every Friday, let's recommend some people and/or communities to follow on Dreamwidth. That's it. No complicated rules, no "pass this on to 7.328 friends or your cat will die". Just introduce us to some new things to read.

I think fandomweekly is a great community and I'd love to see more people participate (as writers and/or readers). Once a week they have a prompt (and a bonus goal that earns an extra point). Fic up to 1,000 words can be entered. On Monday night the challenge ends and a voting post goes up where anyone can vote for their favorites. You don't even have to be a member to vote. There are 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners, unless not enough entries, then just a winner & runner up. There are sometimes banners made for the winners, although it seems like they've been having trouble getting volunteers to make those. So come and join in!
