Here's the plan: every Friday, let's recommend some people and/or communities to follow on Dreamwidth. That's it. No complicated rules, no "pass this on to 7.328 friends or your cat will die". Just introduce us to some new things to read.

People/communities to follow:

thefridayfive - five questions (all sort of thematically related as far as I can see) posted once a week. For those of you who possibly made a comeback to journalling but suffer from that frustrating blank-update-page syndrome (happens to me if I go too long without posting).

My friend dolorosa_12 is a very interesting person who writes beautifully and always has thought-provoking posts (and impeccable readig taste, if you're looking for book recs). However I'm metinoning her here because she posts an open thread every Friday and her circle is full of equally interesting and eloquent people and those open threads are always so much fun to delve into.

journalsandplanners is a comm I just discovered yesterday and it looks like the perfect place for fans of organisation, planning, journalling and stationary. starting next week they're going to run a challenge with prompts that looks like a lot of fun.

Last but not least, if you're into the Rivers of London book series and want to know more about the upcoming new instalment, please join the RoL comm the_folly and come talk to me about the new book in the post I made specifically about it.

I made a post for Community Thursdays yesterday that ended up working as sort of a promotion for all sorts of comms people may be interested in (hi, falena XD). I thought I'd mention them here too for Follow Friday!

journalsandplanners is having a challenge later in the month to celebrate everyone's journals/planners and share tips
fancake is a community for fanworks recs based on a monthly theme
halfamoon is a February event to celebrate female characters in fandom
endings is a chill comm where people share the ending to something with no context
bnha_fans is a comm I started for fans of Boku No Hero Academia, if that's of interest

Something for everyone?? They're all fun comms to follow :)

My Valentines Edition lists multiple communities with sex/romance themes or events. I also included some other resources besides communities.

Holiday and other themed recs seem like a good way to vary what people are suggesting. I still want to go through my community list in order, but this will switch it up some because I can look up communities that I don't frequent myself.

Someone recently mentioned the comm agonyaunt to me in a comment; it's a comm where people share advice colum questions and replies so that discussion can be had in the comments.
